Leakage detection 24/7

Description for our service

A leakproofness test (or, more precisely, a serviceability test, also a leak test) of the pipeline system should be carried out every 12 years. Such an inspection is carried out with the help of measuring instruments, and its results are recorded in the form of a report. Thus, the operating organization receives a report from a technical expert.

Visual inspection of the pipeline provides for checking: compliance of the installed pipeline with the design documentation; correctness of the installation of locking devices, ease of closing and opening them; installation of all design fasteners and removal of all temporary fasteners; completion of all welding work, including tie-ins of air ducts and drains; completion of heat treatment (if necessary).

The type of test (for strength and density, additional leakproofness test), the test method (hydraulic, pneumatic) and the value of the test pressure are specified in the design for each pipeline.

As a rule, the entire pipeline is subjected to the test. It is allowed to test the pipeline in separate sections with applied thermal or anticorrosive insulation of pipelines.

During testing, all shut—off valves installed on the pipeline must be fully open, the seals must be sealed in place of the control valves and measuring devices, mounting coils must be installed; all tie-ins, fittings, bosses must be plugged.
